Visitor Information

Location

Bastion No.1 is located on the south side of Holy Trinity Church. Access is through the large gates on Trinity Green, just off Haslar Road.

Car Parking

• Free on-street parking on Trinity Green (2-hour limit)

• Long-stay public parking in Walpole Park Car Park (a few minutes’ walk away — pay on arrival)

Pedestrians, Cyclists & Motorcycles

• 5-minute walk from the Gosport Ferry (to Portsmouth)

• 10-minute walk from Gosport High Street & Town Centre

• Linked to The Solent Way, King Charles III England Coast Path, and the Millennium Walk coastal path

Opening Times

Bastion No.1 is currently designated for use as a Public Park by Gosport Borough Council and is open from 9am to 4pm daily.

Online Membership Form

The membership fee is £5 per year (2025) or a one-off payment of £50 for life membership, payable by direct debit or bank transfer.
